Willie Nelson and Family...
Last Thursday night we went to see Willie in Rome. It was such a fun date night. Joey had seen him a couple of times and got to meet him several years ago, but I had never seen him in concert. It was a very small and intimate concert. We had the best time. I have always loved Willie and grew up listening to him. When I hear him sing it makes me think of my Dad and riding around in the truck going to eat bbq or going fishing. I can remember when I was little and my mom and dad went to see him so it was special to me to think that Joey and I were them 30 years ago going to see Willie and Jack Rush was at his Gigi's house just like I was. Willie might be older now, but he could still get down!!
Happy Birthday...Happy Heart Day!
Happy Birthday to my love Joey Lee! He couldn't have been born on a better day! Such a sweetheart and born on sweetheart's day! ;) Jack Rush and I are so very lucky to have him!! Since he is such an older man now, would he be a cougar? haha! I hope everyone has a Happy Heart Day!
