Memorial Day 2011

Whooo! I'm on a roll today! :) We had a great Memorial Day weekend! We started off our 3 day weekend by relaxing on Friday night after a long work week. Then Saturday night Jack Rush spent the night with his GiGi and Joey and I headed to Crustul and Chid's to do a lil' grillin and spend time with friends. Rudy and Lil' Jay came down from Jo-Ja and spent some much needed time with them. We all don't get to see them enough. Chid grilled it up while us gals and some help from Joe made the fixin's and we laughed and talked till Crushtul and I couldn't anymore. So we passed out on the couch and the boys stayed up late talking and havin' a good time. Then Sunday Joey grilled it up and we all splashed around in Jack Rush's pool and had a good ol' time. We stayed up late, ate some good grillin' and watched some movies that weren't worth a flip. Monday we woke up ate some good breakfast and then headed to Crushtul and Chids again for a day of grillin' and swimmin' with some of our bestest friends, The Barnett's and The Wright's and even Bethy came and we all love Bethy. She even put us in a tweet! Uh oh! The fellas did the grillin' or they supervised Chid and the gals did the fixins. The kids played and played and then after our good eatin', we went swimming. We had a ball. Jack Rush for some reason wasn't havin' the pool on this day at first, but after a while he finally went with it and had a good ol' time. Where have I been?

I don't know why I can't sit down and type for a sec! I have some many pics I want to post and things I want in prints so I'll remember! I think I kept getting ill because it would take foreva to post a pic and that would be one reason I never do because I always want to show off some pics! :) Baby Boy is turning 2 this month and I can't believe it. It makes me so sad to see he's growing up so quickly and happy though to see he's learning so much and teaching Joey and me so much as well! We love that little stinker so much and everyone around him loves him so much too. We have a big birthday party as usual planned for the end of the month and I guess what I'll have to do is post 1st birthday and then 2nd birthday so everyone can see both parties since I never blogged the first one! :) He's such a little man now with so much to say and wanting to get into everything. His favorite thing right now though is "baball" he looooooves and I mean loves baseball! He loves playing outside and hitting off the tee and loves watching his cousin Duke play and loves watching it on tv. The boy loves baseball I tell ya! We probably should have done baseball for his party this year, but I didn't know he'd love it so much already. Mabye if I can keep it up, I can get caught up a little and get some post goin'! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and I'll be back soooooon! :) Oh, and i thought I'd post a pic from his 1st bday since he is still 1 until the end of the month! :)

This is ol' girl needs to get with it!

I just can't seem to keep up with this ol' blog! I have got to start getting better, yall have to stay on me! There are so many pics to post and things to write about and I just can't seem to get with it! So Saturday afternoon, I have been dying to go out to Ft. McClellan and take some pics of baby and finally did. They turned out so cute! We were pressed for time because we were going to have breakfast for supper with MawMaw Terry and eat her famous sausage and gravy biscuits, so we got what we could. But we are going back out very soon! I hope all the babies had a wonderful first day of school today! I've thought about all of yall today and prayed that it would be wonderful for all the babies and momma's today! I love yall and hopefully I'll have another new post up with pics this week. Oh!! I almost forgot to mention, we'll have a new baby to our bunch come Thursday! Jack Rush's future with should come and meet us this week, so please keep Kelly and Turtlecrack in your prayers this week! Oh, and I need a blog makeover! Where's the best spot to get one! I love yall!

Well...hello there!

Have I been absent for a while or what! haha! It's like everytime I try to write, a little fella I know needs his momma and when I'm at work, I don't have a pic to load and never find time to finish when I get home! I have to get better about blogging everyday. I mean seriously! There have been so many things that have happened in the last few months. We've had birthdays, mother's day, father's day, new babies, parties, teeth, pulling up, trips, cakes, deaths and a whole bunch of other stuff. So for real, I need to get serious! I have tried to keep up with everyone and check in on yall, but there was also the ultimate party that I was put on this earth to plan last weekend, and I had been looking at ideas and writing my list and checking it twice for a while now and finally it all came together so beautifully last weekend. I still have post I started a few months ago that I never finished because I'm so slow at putting pics on this blog and plan on playing catch up this week and will post the party in the next few days as well. I hope everyone has been having a great summer! And also, please keep JJ Crow in your prayers, her hubby will be leaving for his 3rd deployment soon and she, her hubby and precious babies need all of the prayers they can get to get through this difficult time again! I'll be back to writing again this week! I love yall!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband!

Yesterday was Valentine's Day and a special guy I know had a birthday! My sweet husband! Could that big ol' sweetheart have been born on a better day than V'Day or what! I love him so much! He is such a wonderful husband and father! He is so good with Baby Jack Rush and is so hands on with him and with helping me! He always has supper cooked and always has the porch light on when I'm getting home late and always knows when I am pulling up and waits on me at the door to come in or help me get things out of the car. I thank God everyday for him! He was suppose to work this whole weekend, but ended up getting to be off Sunday! We woke up early and I have no idea why? haha! Then we decided to go eat breakfast at the Waffle House! Yummy! And of course had waffles! We were going to go to the museum because he has never been, but baby boy was tired so we took a nap and lounged around. For supper later that evening, I promised I would make chicken and dumplin's ' cause that is one of his favorites! So we ate, lounged and watched a litle t.v.. No chores on birthday's! So that worked out for the both of us! haha! Happy Birthday my sweet, wonderful husband! I love you with all of my heart and love you more and more everyday!

And also I have to remember another precious person in my life who is a sweet angel now. My MawMaw Davis was also a Valentine's baby like Joey Lee. I'm sure they were havin' a good ol' time up in heaven yesterday for her too! Happy Birthday MawMaw! I love you!

Baby's 1st Tooth

Oh my!! My sweet precious 7month old baby boy has started cutting his first tooth!! :( I was on my way home today and Joey calls and said hurry and get home, we have a situation!! Of course I'm saying what's wrong, what's wrong!!! He said nothing bad Momma, we just have a situation with your son! So as soon as I come in the door, he is in his room playing and I walk in and look at him laughing at me and knew right away he had a tooth. I started to cry. I don't know how I didn't know because he kept chewing my finger yesterday and I checked to see if he had any! I know he's still my baby and always will be, but he's just not a toothless, little baby anymore! :( I know I'm silly and can't help it, but I just want these times to go by as slow as they possibly can! He's my baby and I don't want to rush anything 'cause you can never get these times back!! But I am happy for my sweet baby too, cause he has his first tooth and that is special! So that toothfairy better get to savin' his bank 'cause the first tooth lost around here goes for big bucks! :) Oh, and it's his bottom front tooth! Sweet baby!
